Do you need to see a doctor before diving?

All participants in this program are recommended to undergo a medical examination before making their dive. Your general practitioner, or ideally a diving doctor, can examine you.

Here’s what you should do.

1. Print the documents

Fill in and sign them. Then email us completed and signed. If you’re 45 or younger, you probably won’t need a doctor’s written approval. In any case, our team will inform you after receiving the completed and signed documents by email.

2. Make an appointment with a doctor

If you are over 45 make an appointment with your general practitioner, or even better with a diving doctor.

If you are over 65, you should also have an electrocardiogram, so make an appointment with a cardiologist as well. Don’t forget to tell him the reason you want it, since the standard electrocardiogram doesn’t cover it.

IMPORTANT: The electrocardiogram must be valid 30 days before your medical examination.

3. Send your medical certificate and other documents completed and signed.

Send your medical certificate or the form “Responsible declaration – Medical history signed and stamped by the doctor to the address: edu{at}seabreaze.gr

NOTE: Do not attach the EKG.
